Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Are you to busy for Breakfast?
Do you run out the door in the morning without eating your breakfast, hit the nearest coffee shop, grab a muffin and a coffee, and by 9:00 you are feeling very tired….that is your body’s way of telling you, “I need some nutrition”.
Why not try a morning shake; they are a great way to get the nutrition that your body needs to start of a great day.
Ingredients:
½ banana
2 pasteurized egg whites or 1 scoop of protein powder
¼ cup soy milk
¼ cup of orange juice
¼ cup of frozen or fresh strawberries
1 tbsp flaxseed oil.
Directions: Combine all of the ingredients and blend on high for 90 seconds.

Mango, blueberry, banana shake
Shakes are a great way to add in some extra protein into your diet. Protein serves many functions in the body such as maintaining proper growth and repair muscles and tissues.
It is important that we get the correct amount of protein,
Women: 70-90 grams per day
Men: 100-120 grams per day
Ingredients:
½ banana
3 large slices of mango
½ cup of blueberries
½ cup of soy milk
½ cup of orange juice
2 pasteurized egg whites or 1 scoop of protein powder
1 tbsp of flaxseed oil
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and blend on high for 90 seconds
Creamy Vanilla Protein Delight
Vanilla or chocolate protein powder is an excellent option to get your sweet “fix” without raising insulin or blood sugar levels. When insulin levels are raised it results in excess fat and fatigue.
Ingredients:
1 cup soy milk
4 ounces soy yogurt, plain
1 small frozen banana
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 scoops French vanilla whey protein powder or 4 pasteurized egg whites
2 teaspoons flaxseed oil
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and blend on high for 90 seconds.
